Inner Peace Yoga Center
A federally approved 501 (c)(3) non-profit educational organization, and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, Our yoga center is dedicated to teaching the keys to relaxation, stress reduction and self-unfoldment through the time-tested, scientifically validated practices of yoga and meditation which are integral parts of authentic Yoga science. As a non-profit educational organization, we train teachers to pass on the time-tested traditions of yoga in light of current developments in science, health and wellness.
Yoga's Health Benefits
Yoga is known to improve the health of the back and spine, improve breathing, reduce blood pressure, reduce the production of stress hormones in the body like Cortisol, and increase the beneficial DHEA hormone. It can even help with diabetes and weight loss.
Inner Peace Yoga Center is dedicated to helping all people create a balanced life using traditional yoga practices; providing classes, workshops, retreats and community service.
Our co-founders/directors are E - RYT 500+ - Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers with the Yoga Alliance. Certified Yoga Therapists by the International Association of Yoga Therapists; and have decades of teaching experience, training, studying and practicing yoga since the 1970's, and hold tripartite Master's degree's in Eastern Studies / Comparative Psychology / Holistic Health, virtually masters degrees in Yoga Science. Our center teaches yoga; meditation, breathing and relaxation (Foundational practices of Mindfulness based stress reduction); yoga philosophy and psychology; the basics of Ayurveda; and vegetarian cooking. We are also available during the day for private yoga classes, Yoga Therapy sessions, or on-site corporate stress managagement classes.
We invite you to come and take classes with us and integrate the knowledge of yoga into your 21st century world view. We carry books and videos on yoga, meditation, stress management, health and well-being, as well as mats and yoga and meditation props in our bookstore.
